About Adem AKKIR

Adem AKKIR joined MGC Legal as a Senior Attorney in 2017; he works with a wide range of consultants, including the world’s leading experts, professionals, and academics, besides his own team. Adem AKKIR, who graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University’s Faculty of Law, was promoted to the firm’s partnership at the end of 2019.

Adem AKKIR, who speaks intermediate-level English, started his career in the service sector in 2000, where he worked for 15 years. After, he worked in the telecommunication sector for 12 years in various positions.

Adem AKKIR, registered with the Istanbul Bar Association, operates in the Istanbul Bar Association Informatics Law Commission, Sustainable Urban Development Association, and Deger Autism Association. He provides legal services, especially in the fields of IT Law, Enforcement Law, Personal Data Protection, Cyber Crimes, and Commercial Receivables.

Adem AKKIR’s Career and Experiences

Adem AKKIR has worked at different levels in the Law and telecommunication sector for the last 20 years, believing that the combination of Law and technology will bring effective and fast solutions to accessing justice. In the past, he had the opportunity to work in Turkey’s top telecommunication companies. Adem AKKIR also worked at the Office of The Chief Public Prosecutor.

He is currently working within MGC Legal with the experience he gained in these institutions. Prior to MGC Legal, he worked as a legal expert at Telsim Mobile Telecommunication Services between 2000 and 2003.

He served at the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office between 2004 and 2005, as a senior expert at Turkcell between 2005 and 2016, and as a consultant at Turcell between 2016 and 2017.
